ALERT -- ATTENTION

Due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease Pandemic) the current scheduled 525th FIS Reunion in Dayton, OH is CANCELED.

Our next reunion is not scheduled and is on hold until the health of all is considered safe as possible.

Reason for cancellation is the following actions that were considered:

• A survey that I conducted with the attendees of the last two reunions had a results of 100% to cancel at this time.
• Consulting with the hotel in Dayton (which is currently Closed) they concur that a delay would be a safe decision.
• Consulting with the Dayton Convention and Visitors Bureau they stated that there were many cancelations of events in their city.
• My personal conclusion made me consider our ages and health situations that puts the majority of us in the critical group as reported by doctors and services reports. Not only would we have been exposed in Dayton but traveling would also make us exposed on aircraft, taxis, buy gas, eating at restaurants, etc.

We can reschedule when the environment is safer for all of us Outstanding Senior Veterans. We are all Blessed and need to take care of ourselves for our families.

Note: On the survey I received the following comments:

• Maybe we should not have any more reunions due to our groups age, health, and financial burdens.
• Maybe we could join the Delta Wing Aircraft reunion group because we are getting smaller in members who attend.

I would like to know your comments on the above.
